Take a walk...........
You need to get away. You take a scarf and warm jacket, and pausing to look up at the starry sky in wonder, you begin to walk.
The night is cold and you hug your self as you walk to keep warm, the cold breeze on your face heightens the impression of wonder that began in appreciation of the star laden sky. The narrow country road winds upwards above the town below, distant light comes from the few houses along the way.
You close your eyes in peace, feeling so alone and at one with the breeze, the stars, and the winding path. The road meanders a little and levels out, in the middle distance you can hear the sound of a stream and you know you are near the little hilltop lake.
It sits before you now, the moon and stars reflected in its darkness. One side is shaded where overhanging rock throws shadow on shimmering light.
There is an oak tree, a bench, and an old boat.......................
what do you do next?????????????
