If you could have one of these superpowers for a limited time (24 hours), which would you choose and why? Would your choice be different if it was for an unlimited time?

1. Ability to heal anyone (except yourself) from anything
2. Invulnerability: Immunity to any physical damage
3. Waterbreathing: Ability to breath underwater
4. Omni-linguism: Ability to understand any form of language
5. Mediumship: Ability to communicate with the dead
6. Telepathy: Ability to read the thoughts of others, or communicate mentally

OK, here it is...

I would be a number two...
My wife would be a number six...
My son would be a number one... (or possibly a number three...)

And we would be an awesome team!!

#6...... ideally in a 24 hour Texas Holdem no limit game.

A definite #1, the "Ability to heal anyone (except yourself) from anything".

I would choose number one, because being able to help others, especially with matters of health, would give me a lot of pleasure.

I just realized I failed to say why I would chose #1 ... to have power to heal (even for a 24 hr period) would be such a great opportunity to help man & women kind. Perhaps, providing people a second chance to change or improve ones' life. To include mental illness (alcoholism, smokers, etc). A gift or an opportunity to heal (in all senses), so my fellow brothers and sisters could experience life to their fullest potential ... being "Healthy" transcends into all aspects of ones' life, which equates to a sense of well being and "Happiness". And, a little more time spent with loved ones, or just living ...

I'd have to go with number 4:
Omni-linguism: Ability to understand any form of language


I'm studying a year abroad this year for 10 months in Italy, and the placement tests are in August.
It'd be great to get into the higher class of Italian on that day, then my pace in the language would be progress rapidly and I could become fluent quicker!

I guess those are selfish reasons though, so in hindsight if I really had to choose I would most likely go with choice number 1; there are a lot of people in pain in this world, it'd be quite a great thing to help fix that.
