Saving Space with Gary Chang
Perhaps it doesn't have to be taken to such an extreme as in this example,
but it's an interesting approach to space.

Undoubtedly ingenious, but how does anyone live in that kind of enclosed area all of their life and not go stark raving mad.
Each evening as i drive home i come around a bend in the road to a majestic vista of mountains, its always different...but always raises my spirits.
I do not know how that feeling can be replicated, or replaced when living in such a large city, or in such confined space.
I must be lucky!

Yes, you are and I share your opinion.

In spite of his creativity to make really something from nothing, it is somehow frightening just to think to live like that...for me.

Dermot, Mirjana,
I don't think anyone here would debate that... it is merely interesting to see how well space (even small space) can be used with creativity.
Comparing it with nature and open space is.. well, it's simply not a comparison at all. I agree wholeheartedly. :)
Yours truly
