Hello fellas~~^_^
This my first time to post something here though I've been a member for a couple of months. It's always been so nice gaining new perspectives from the members. Anyway, I just wanna share a question and I would be glad to know your view about it. Is there any difference between a sign and coincidence? Could you tell me your view about it? Thanks a lot!

- Things I like: I love watching American TV series. I am definitely an auditory learner so I learn best when I listen.
I like reading current news. I focus mostly on local politics and opinion from my favorite columnist at a local newspaper. It makes me happy when I finish one meaningful piece of writing. - State of Mind or Tendency:

My thought is; A sign would happen for a specific purpose or reason. The coincidence is an event that seems to happen without cause.

Hello Temperanz and Yank!
In my opinion a sign and a coincidence are one and the same. Your interpretation of the event, action or reaction would be based upon your approach to such things. If you believe there are coincidences then anything and everything could be just that... a coincidence. If you believe there is no such thing as a coincidence and that everything happens for a reason then you would probably approach each instance with contemplation.
I think the main thing is to approach each event, action or reaction openly and honestly. Don't lie or fool yourself to see what you want to see so that you don't have to face something.

hey fellas :)
my 2 cents worth , on an interesting concentration
.... if a 'sign' is a representation or part thereof of a pattern
or patterns expressed or expressing
with 'coincidence' also representing ordered pattern or patterns ,
certainly Universal Order is mirrored by both sign and coincidence.
... meaningful coincidence/s (to our personal experience**) though , are seen as
synchronistic behaviour/s
Synchronicity seems to be both unique occurance AND universal ordering ,
occuring concurrently ... and like Inspiration uses accepted structures of mind / being
through which to express Itself.
** an ephiphaney , moment of awe , for example

There is no such thing as a coincidence. Everything happens because of a series of events; no matter how small or how large the event.

Thanks much for all those who commented.
To Ryan, I think you really got a point there. People have varying approaches on how to interpret things.
