I can't watch this scene without crying. Al Pacino and that silent gut wrenching scream gets me every time. I have yet to see a crying scene that comes close in comparison...perfect.

Sergio Leone has inspired numerous directors, and Ennio Morricone's music that always accompanied his movies unfailingly made an even more unforgettable experience out of them. When watching Sergio Leone's westerns you can see that he loved the cinema... he made movies like a true artist.

Ok... a little introduction... the movie is good... it is funny... and maybe even a little cute. But the beginning is pure magic!! When we first watched this movie, the part you are going to watch is at the beginning, I said... "even if the rest of the movie stinks, this part made the whole movie worth it!". Of course being an American football fan helps a bit...

During the dialogue with the architect you can see Neo standing there and various versions of him in the past react in different ways to what the architect tells him. Then the architect presents him a choice...

Architect: There are two doors. The door to your right leads to the Source, and the salvation of Zion. The door to your left leads back to the Matrix, to her and to the end of your species. As you adequately put, the problem is choice. But we already know what you are going to do, don't we? Already, I can see the chain reaction - the chemical precursors that signal the onset of an emotion, designed specifically to overwhelm logic and reason - an emotion that is already blinding you from the simple and obvious truth. She is going to die, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

In response, all the Neos, past and present choose the same option, the same door.

Architect: Hope. It is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength and your greatest weakness.

Neo: If I were you, I would hope that we don't meet again.

Architect: We won't.

A great scene - luv the clever dialogue ...

I like many things about Star Wars, it is a great story, and has lots of wisdom too, however as I didn't watch it when I was a child it was never so high on the ranking list for me as for many others. Still, there is one scene that is for me one of the most heart-breaking scenes I have ever seen.

The soldiers are fighting alongside the Jedi, together. In the moment the order 66 is executed the same people that were until then fighting with them now turn against them, without any warning... and shoot them in the back... basically.

There should be some things one can rely on... and things like this should never ever happen.

The famous song "Moon River" performed by her helped composer Henry Mancini and lyricist Johnny Mercer win an Oscar for Best Song.
