Re: Great Movie Scenes
That is a great scene... and it reminded me of this..
Those who are filled with life
Need not fear tigers and rhinos in the wilds,
Nor wear armour and shields in battle;
The rhinoceros finds no place in them for its horn,
The tiger no place for its claw,
The soldier no place for a weapon,
For death finds no place in them.
From "Death" (Tao Te Ching)

Hi Chiara,
I am so grateful that you brought this topic again. I love movies and great movie scenes can influence us on so many different levels. This scene is magnificent. When watching it again now I realized that I would like to watch this movie again. Maybe this Summer

Re: Great Movie Scenes
Hi there. This is my first post and I'm brazilian, so I'd kindly ask you to forgive eventual English mistakes.
This is one of the most touching scenes I have ever seen. The music, the colors, the laughing... Everything inspires glory and achievement.
You get to FEEL something different, and I think that's what art ( either it is music, cinema or whatever) is about: the feeling it broadcasts.

- Favorite book: That is a hard question but I believe 1984
- Favorite movie: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
- Things I like: I am a music addict and, tough I really enjoy Classic Rock, I always try to keep my mind open to different stuff.. The Beatles and Bob Dylan are my greatest passions. About movies, Benjamin Button touched me in a way few movies did, but I really like Forrest Gump, Dead Poets Society and Amélie Poulain.
I am a huge fan of Science Fiction and poetry.
Finally, I simply love travelling, and plan on travelling as much as I can after I finish High School - State of Mind or Tendency:

Hi Nischal,
Welcome to DS
This is beautiful scene and I am thankful to be reminded.
If the person is aware about the reason to be here and feel it and know it the same time, like he explained it for himself with this sentence:"You are all my reasons", then the hermetical circle of life is closed and a person is ready for harmonious and peaceful turning back to where everything comes from.
