Dermot... that's an awesome list.
However, my "I am not such which I would take." which I just noticed now, beats them all.
=0X

I am such a poet.

Thank you for your answers. After your answers I have checked if I put my question in the corresponding forum. And yes, it was correctly put in the Imagination Exercises.

Sabina, looking from this perspective to my question and having in mind that some very significant poems I know by heart, my choice would be:

1.Robinson Crusoe
2.Idiot from Dostoevsky
3. One piece from Tolstoy(probably Karenina) and
4. In Search of Lost Time, Marcel Proust

I have'nt thought too much about the following.....but...

1. A book of Rumi's poetry
2. The book of secrets ...Deepak Chopra
3. The power of Now...Eckhart Tolle
4. A book of song lyrics

I hope never to have to do this!

But neither of you answered the Why. That's my problem, what's the criteria?

The Why Sabina..........to stay somehow sane?

Poetry, song lyrics and a book that talks about truth.....simply to stay sane!
