My today's Destiny Jump opened Life-Changing Photographs. It is a beautiful place with great photo stories made by great photographers.

They are magnificent in the way how those artists have chosen the right moment to tell us stories that influence our way of thinking and approach to life.

From Axel Gimenez and his amazing photos Eyjafjallajokull Glacier Formation which shows the power and beauty of nature, over beautiful photos captured in the waters of the Solomon Islands Blue Sea Star , there are two pice of art of Steve McCurry, Alto Churumazu and Football in Burma, took as polarities to each other, there are also photos taken by Adrian Fisk, Playing with Cobra and Great White Shark taken by Thomas Peschak, both as a great representatives of possible ways to defeat fear. Finally there are three photos that represent dramatically decisions, Tank Man photographed by Jeff Widener in 1989 in Beijing, The Vulture by Kevin Carter taken in Sudan in 1993, of a starving girl with a vulture in the background, for which he won the Pulitzer Prize in 1994, committing suicide only a few month later, and finally Buddhist Monk, taken by Malcolm Browne in 1963 who was there when a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk set himself on fire in protest of the persecution of Buddhists by the government of South Vietnam.
All these photos are great pieces of art and deserve respect for being taken as an additional information and insight about life.
Sabina, it is great selection you have made for us and great information about this art.

It inspired me to ask all of you: Which one is your favorite and why? It can be among these presented in the DS selection so far or some new one you like.
