Wise person is at peace with self and free of anger, fear and aggression.
Wise person is not emotionally attached when deciding what to say and how to act.
Wise person is patient and systematic in approaching people and situations.
Wise person has understanding instead of power. It is a person who has discovered the depth of her/his mind and doesn´t try to impress others but to help them to discover the beauty and depth of their mind and heart.
Wise person is insightful in mind and graceful in heart.

Dermot, will you also tell us what makes you describe some people as wise?

Mirjana, what does it mean to be free of anger?
To never ever get angry, regardless the circumstances?

I am not sure how to answer this short of it sounding like a recipe for wisdom...
Someone whom I might call wise would have to meet the following minimum criteria, or to stay within the metaphor, the ingredients for wisdom are...

    1. Personal experience
A person who wasn't (and isn't) afraid to truly live. Decisions are not guided by fear but by curiosity and a love for life.
    2. Sound logic, incl. common sense
A person who can explain their logic.... explain their way of thinking, their outlook, advice or philosophy.
    3. Authenticity and individuality
Being an original, and being so consequently, without the need to prove to themselves nor others that they are an original.

There is quite a bit more... but these are the bare minimums.
