The Journey Begins

I recently came across a website of a digital artist called Daniel Lieske, whose work I liked very much, but this particular image called "The Journey Begins" touched me differently. In a more personal way, I think. It has the same feel and spirit like Alice in Wonderland, and so many other beautiful stories for and with children:

I see the rope tied to the trunk. Is the little boy tied to the trunk? What does that mean I wonder.

This really warms my heart. =0)

Spiritual journey,
Lost in the forest of unknown,
Open to discoveries,
Need not to lose connection with reality,
Curiosity and courage to go on...


So many ideas are set in these beautiful peace of art.
It is like a therapy, when one is down, just to look at them and feels better.

It's a ball of yarn he's holding it in his left hand...it's so he can find his way back...
