Minimalistic Movies

Minimalistic or minimalist or minimal movies. Those where the dialogue rules. No awesome budget required, very simplistic productions and quite amazing! Have you ever watched such a movie?

I warmly recommend the following three movies:

[El] The 24th Day (2004)
Directed by Tony Piccirillo
Starring Scott Speedman and James Marsden.
That's basically the entire cast. The only other person with a few lines is a female, and her role ends early on in the movie.
Tagline: Your next lie may be your last.

[El] Tape (2001)
Directed by Richard Linklater
Starring Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard, Uma Thurman.
That's it. The three of them in a motel room. The camera never leaves the room.
Tagline: Some things can't be erased

[El] Dogville (2003)
Directed by Lars von Trier
Starring Nicole Kidman, Paul Bettany, Lauren Bacall, Jean-Marc Barr, James Caan
Dogville doesn't have a mini-cast like the above two movies, but the set is super-minimalistic!
Tagline: A quiet little town not far from here.

"Moon" with Sam Rockwell. Written and directed by Duncan Jones.
Rockwell is essentially the only actor. Simple, clear and understated movie.
Moon was made on half the budget of Dogville.
