Human mind , soul and spirit

"The forum for talks about the intangible universe, the human mind, and the soul"
I am very curious about what other people think the human mind is and what the soul is and spirit . Are they the same or different?
What do they mean to you?
How closely attached are they to the human body, if at all?
:)

Soul is my emotional consciousness, therefore when I am hurt I would say:"My soul hurts."
This is my heart that operates with I feel.

Spirit is my driving force, my true self that guides me and supports me through life experiences.
When I am completely in the moment of now, happy and aware of myself, feeling the whole me I would say:" That's me that is my spirit."
This is my code , my intuition that is my bridge between this and some other realities. It operates with I forsee,dream...

Mind is my watch, my computer, my calculator, my navigator, my passport, protector of my personality. When I am up I would say: "My mind is great" or when not "My mind is down". It operates with thoughts.

My body is a vessel, boat where all three reside. Body is an outer manifestation of each of other three identities.

Child, when born is Soul, Mind is system of knowledge and education, like an inner personal library or computer, Spirit is the same soul after experiencing Life and learning about self as it is, transformed soul, that has transcended this reality into the stable state of consciousness.

Without body all this will not be possible, at least in this reality.
That is how I see it at the time.

Pat,
I do not know.
I am very open to many possibilities, and I enjoy exchanging ideas and thoughts on these subjects. Some of these ideas sounds fascinating, but don't touch me personally. Others do... and I believe that my spontaneous reaction to a thought or an idea points me to the truth. So while many things are theoretically possible and may be fascinating to contemplate, the main question is whether it rings true to me, or not.

If it doesn't, no harm done.. I can still talk about it, and that talk might provoke something else, possibly something even more interesting.

My mind is thought.
My spirit is enthusiasm.
My soul is love.
They are all connected. My spirit and soul know more than my mind. That is one of those things that rings true to me, for example...

As for my body, I am less certain about its connection to the three than I am about their connection to each other.
My body is a manifestation of those three - that's a possibility.
Or, my body was choice, while the other three always were and always will be - that's another possibility.
Or, my body was what I received it order to easier learn what I need to learn.
Or, my body was a gift for my past accomplishments. :)
Like I said, I am not sure...

What are your thoughts?

Sabina my thoughts are not conclusive but i do like very much what Mirjana wrote.
I remember reading about an experiment some years ago at Ohio State in which they proved that
the mind and the brain are separate.
I believe that our mind and soul and spirit have always existed and will continue to.

I also get a very strong feeling when i read or hear something that rings true to me... It's a feeling that i know that i know that i know. Usually without having any reason for knowing it.

Pat,

So you see the body as a vessel in which the mind, body and spirit reside and an outer manifestation of the three?

The vessel makes sense of course, for obvious reasons.
It being an outer manifestation is definitely a possibility, but since it is for me not one of those things I am 100% certain of, I am still wondering... maybe the right answer just didn't come across yet.
Actually I was going to write "maybe the right answer just didn't come across yet, for me", which was strange... Do you think the body can have different meanings for different people?
Is that a possibility?
Maybe that is why the answer to that particular question is a little harder than the others, because the answer is not the same for each of us.

Well it just crossed my mind... bear with me... :)
What I mean is that while we are all connected, we might have different roles, and that depending on our roles the way our body connects to our mind/spirit/soul might be different as well.
Such as...
For one person they have the body they do in order to easier learn the lessons they learn.
For another person it is the body is a manifestation of their mind/spirit/soul.
For yet another person it is something completely different.
Something along those lines.

I sincerely say THANK YOU to each one of you for sharing your ACHIEVEMENTS
regarding these three "things".
when we get it all done = can we work on WHO MADE GOD?
I personnally worked and worked with ALL the concentration and brain muscle I could
muster seeking the answer for a few days. I started with WHO or what made ME.

FINALLY, without the slightest doubt in my mind, soul and spirit, I went - absolutely INSANE
for a few seconds.
PS. I truthfully, throughyly enjoyed the experience of being Insane and the knowledge
I gained from being insane for those few moments.
I Still love the LOST feeling and the knowledge that my few seconds of insanity gave me.
This was when I was about 20 years old.
I repeat, I love hearing what each one of you have determined about what the mind,
spirit and soul are.
One of you said the SOUL has immense knowledge. I am certain it does and I am
certain almost No one hears Messages from our Souls. I believe TO hear these
messages we must train OUR MIND TO totally and completely become SILENT
of Shut Up or else it is impossible for our Body to Hear those messages.
I thought of asking one of you If you believe our Soul arrives with an awesome amount
of knowledge. And one of you said our MIND continues to BE forever.
So " Since our Mind exists Forever =
" DO we take all of our earthly learned knowledge with us to Heaven."
