I would concur with you, that many post-graduate-degreed people - particularly, those with doctorates - tend to treat formal education as a religion. However, save for fundamentalism, some actually practice a religion. A truly well-educated person will realize that he/she has barely scratched the surface of knowledge.

I sense resentment, on your part, of higher education. Is this present? If so, why? Education doesn't bight. I don't know your age, however, I sense that you are probably younger than 21. True? It is quite common for people that age to be tired of school. However, many of those same people, later, seek higher education.
