A Spaceman came travelling...

I thought of adding this to the Musically stuck topic, but this song deserves more. After all, it has been stuck in my head for a year or so!

Thanks to an amazing website, which Ryan just found, I was finally able to find out which song it is... and it's "A Spaceman came travelling" by Chris de Burgh.

Here is the song, with lyrics, which are very very interesting.... don't you think??

"Whether You believe you can, or you can't, you are right."

Oh Sabina, brilliant and in a right moment. [El]
Having in mind talks that we have recently had here in DS in many topics about future, just to mention Zeitgeist: Moving Forward http://www.deepspirits.com/exploration/zeitgeist-moving-forward-t849.html, it seems that what we all need now is a whisper from the star angel that will awaken our souls.
Your memory that has brought this song has whispered your La, La, La...to my ear =0)
I do hope that more spacemen will come as stars over many villages awakening people all around to be more present when making choices and aware that their choices are building the future of our children.

I also thought that at first, but no... it's even better. Jesus is neither divine nor a spaceman. The spaceman landed (hovered) above the shack, and mother and child were already there, inside. The spaceman looked like an angel to them but also frightened them... but then he spoke to them saying
"Do not fear
I come from a planet a long way from here
and I bring a message to mankind to hear"

.. and then the sweetest music started.... and then...

Peace and goodwill to all men
and love for the child.

That was the message.

And the music awakened others, who found the shed thanks to the light from the hovering spacecraft, and so on....

It's a good story and quite reasonable, while still being very romantic as well.
