"Shine"

I didn't know where to put this topic, here or in the music forum as it belongs to both. I have just finished watching the movie "Shine".It is about the pianist David Helfgott playing by Geoffrey Rush. It is so full of true life, beauty and magic of music and child like innocence of the great pianist. I am still under the impression. And as Rachmaninoff music is a very important part of the movie and I forget everything when listening to his music, feeling almost like hypnotized, I selected this one for this topic:

The Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30, composed in 1909 by Sergei Rachmaninoff (colloquially known as "Rach 3") is famous for its technical and musical demands on the performer. It has the reputation of being one of the most technically challenging piano concertos in the standard classical repertoire.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano_Concerto_No._3_(Rachmaninoff)
